A Ulloa AND O Courel

A ULLOA

Situated in the middle of Galicia and traversed from side to side by the French Route of St. James, is above all a region of ancient agricultural traditions and very fertile grasses that are ideal for raising cattle and the manufacture of cheeses. This region is in its own right a worthy place to visit.

Here is were innovative agricultural practices have taken root in places such as the Granxa Maruxa and Arqueixal.

O COUREL

White in the winter but with many green colors and tones in the summer.

Courel is in a mountainous landscape peppered with hidden villages, that due to their inaccessibility have been able to preserve the their authentic beauty.

This is the territory of the wolf, the wild boar, the royal owl.

Courel is also Galicia’s lung, the green spaces, with more than 800 botanical species, and furrowed by many spring waters, hiking trails such as the Devesa de Rogueira and the Lucenza Lagoon.
